Coffee in the Attic Ribbon Cutting




Coffee in the Attic held their ribbon cutting Thursday March 2, 2009. Coffee in the Attic is located at 112 East Court Square in Dowtown Covington. They have a wide variety of gourmet coffee and they also serve "almost famous chicken salad" for lunch. Regions Bank sponsored the money ribbon and Alderman Ed Timberlake cut the ribbon.




TOTAL Youth Graduation


TOTAL Youth Graduation was held in the Chamber Center Tuesday March 31st at 6:30 pm. The students and their parents enjoyed a wonderful meal catered by Main Street Antiques. After the meal, the students were given the opportunity to give their presentations and all four groups did an outstanding job. Gary Sloan handed out the graduation certificates and spoke to the group about the program, the future and achieving their dreams.

Breakfast in Touch: Baptist Tipton




Baptist Memorial Tipton hosted Breakfast in Touch March the 26th in the Community Classroom. The hospital prepared a delicious spread that included danish, eggs, bacon, sausage, hash brown casserole, biscuits and fruit. Dr. Mbu, the new Hospitalist, and Skipper Bondurant, the hospital administrator, spoke to the group about the recent renovations and the new equipment and the group had a chance to ask Dr. Mbu about her duties at the hospital and her move to the community.


The next Breakfast in Touch will be held April 30th at Parkway Cove assisted living.
