Mayor David Gordon presents Janet Newman with Key to City
County Executive Jeff Huffman declares April 30th Janet Newman DayA reception was held for Janet Newman in recognition of her retirement from Dyersburg State Community College yesterday and in her honor, County Executive Jeff Huffman declared April 30th "Janet Newman Day". She has been an important part of DSCC for almost 20 years. She put her heart and soul into her work and Mayor David Gordon presented Mrs. Newman with a key to the City. Tim Sloan, Dr. Karen Bowyer and Lee Johnston all spoke about her accomplishments in the community and DSCC.
